Cucumber Margarita Mocktail

Sharing is caring!

Sunshine on your face? A cold glass sweating in your hand? That little fizzy pop when you pour the soda in? That’s this drink, my friends.

Some people want a complicated cocktail menu with twelve ingredients and a torch for the garnish. Not me!

I want something I can throw together in five minutes flat. This one’s quick, extremely easy, and it tastes like summer decided to hang out in a glass. Perfect refreshing summer mocktail recipe!

Ingredients

Nothing crazy here. Just some simple stuff that probably overlaps with what you already got. The cucumber is the real star here. Don’t skip it!

  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced (save a couple slices for garnish later)
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice (roughly 1-2 limes, depending on how juicy they are)
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or honey (more or less, it’s up to your taste buds)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or soda of your choice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish, this one’s optional but it looks so pretty

How to Do It

This comes together fast. Way faster than you’d think, I promise.

Rim Your Glass If You’re Feeling Fancy

Totally optional step. But if you want that fun salted or sugared rim like a real margarita, just rub a lime wedge around the top edge of your glass. Then dip it into a little plate of salt or sugar. You can skip it if you’re not in the mood though, the drink’s still amazing either way!

Blend the Cucumber

Toss your cucumber slices into a blender. Blend it up until smooth. If you want it extra silky you can run it through a fine mesh sieve, that strains out the pulpy bits. I don’t mind a little texture myself so I usually skip that part. Do whatever feels right to you, ya know?

Mix Your Base

Grab a shaker or a pitcher. Pour in your cucumber puree, the fresh lime juice, the orange juice, and your agave or honey. Give it a good stir, get everything nicely combined.

Add the Fizz

Gently stir in your sparkling water or soda of choice. I say gently because nobody wants to lose all that fun bubbly fizz from stirring too hard.

Build Your Drink

Fill your prepped glass with ice cubes. Then pour that cucumber mixture right over the top, nice and slow.

Garnish and Get Pretty

Top it off with a few of those reserved cucumber slices. Some fresh mint leaves too, if you’re using them! This part’s basically just for looks. But it makes the drink feel extra special.

Sip and Enjoy

And that’s it, you’re done! Sip on your cool, refreshing Cucumber Margarita Mocktail, soak up all those happy summery flavors.

Don’t be afraid to play around with the sweetness or the lime juice amount. Until it’s just right for you. Recipes are more like guidelines anyway, right?
