Pomegranate Mocktail
I’ve been on a serious mocktail kick lately. The thing is, sometimes you just feel like having a fancy/interesting drink, rather than just sipping on same ol’ lemonade. So I’ve been experimenting a lot with non-alcoholic cocktail recipes, and this pomegranate fizz mocktail is one of my favorites so far.

It takes 5 minutes to make, so it’s super easy, plus you might already have most of the ingredient stuff. The pomegranate seeds make it look really pretty which shouldn’t matter but totally does! Especially if you’re making this for guests, serving it at a party, etc. Tastes tart and fizzy and feels really ‘professional’ if that makes sense, even though it’s super simple to do.
This makes two servings. You can double it or whatever if more people want some!
Ingredients

- 1 cup pomegranate juice (the pure stuff or from concentrate both work fine)
- 1 cup soda water or tonic water, make sure it’s cold
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (I usually use about half a lime)
- ½ cup fresh pomegranate seeds (these are for making it pretty)
- Lime slices for garnish
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves if you want them (they’re optional but recommended!)
How to Do It
Step 1: Mix Your Juices

Get a big pitcher. Pour the pomegranate juice in there. Then add lime juice too. Stir it gently so it mixes. That’s all you do here. Just mix them together good.

I like fresh lime juice better. It tastes brighter and nicer. The bottled kind is fine if that’s what you have though.
Step 2: Add the Fizz

Your soda water goes in now. Or tonic water, whatever you picked. Be really gentle when you stir! The bubbles will go away if you stir too hard. And bubbles are important for this drink.
Step 3: Make It Cold
Ice cubes go in the pitcher now. Put in a lot of them so the pitcher fills up. This keeps it cold and refreshing. Even if your soda was cold you still need ice!
Step 4: Add Your Garnishes
Throw the pomegranate seeds in. The lime slices too. They float around and look so pretty. Plus they make it taste better when you drink it!
Step 5: Finish with Mint (If You Want)

Mint leaves are optional but I use them almost always. Tear them with your hands a little bit first. This makes the smell come out and it’s amazing. You don’t have to do this step if you don’t want mint.
Step 6: Pour and Enjoy!

Pour it in glasses right now. Make sure everyone gets some seeds and lime in their glass when you pour. That’s the best part of the whole drink!
