Cranberry Spritzer Mocktail

Sharing is caring!

Sparkly bubbles? Tart cranberry juice that makes your mouth happy? Some lime squeezed in there and pretty garnishes floating around? That’s this cranberry spritzer mocktail right here.

This is such a fun and refreshing mocktail to make you need something fizzy and festive that takes literally five minutes and uses stuff you probably already have in your fridge – then yeah, this is your drink.

It’s the kind of mocktail that works for everything. Holiday parties where your aunt asks what the kids can drink. Random Tuesday when you want something more exciting than water. Valentine’s day – perfect color for it. Brunch with friends who aren’t drinking (or are pregnant, or just don’t feel like it). Quick to make and honestly kind of impressive looking with all those cranberries and mint leaves doing their thing in the glass.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice (I use the kind that’s not super sweet but whatever you have works)
  • 1 cup sparkling water (or if you want it sweeter just grab lemon-lime soda)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (half a lime does the trick)
  • Fresh cranberries (these are just to make it pretty)
  • Lemon or orange slices (for the rim)
  • Fresh mint leaves (you don’t have to use these but they smell nice)
  • Ice cubes

How to Do It

Fill Your Glass with Ice

So first thing, you grab your glass and put ice in it. I always use way too much ice but that’s just me! Pick a nice glass if you have one because this drink deserves it.

Combine the Liquids

Now you pour the cranberry juice in there. Add your sparkling water next.

Then squeeze in that lime juice – fresh is way better than the bottled stuff trust me. Stir it a little bit but not too much! You want to keep it bubbly.

Pour and Add Garnishes

Time to make it look fancy. Drop some cranberries right into the drink, they’ll float and sink and look cool. Stick a lemon slice on the edge of your glass. If you grabbed mint, just put a few leaves in there too.

Serve Right Away

Drink it fast while it’s still fizzy and cold. The bubbles go away if you wait too long so don’t let it sit around. That’s basically it!

You can change this recipe however you want honestly. More cranberry juice makes it less sweet. Using soda instead of sparkling water makes it taste like candy. Sometimes I use flavored fizzy water and that’s good too!
