Frozen Vanilla Yogurt Bites

Sharing is caring!

I’ve been making these frozen yogurt bites for a while now and they’re so easy, I swear. You just put yogurt blobs on a pan and add fruit and granola. Then freeze them! That’s basically it.

They taste absolutely yummy, they cool you down when it’s hot outside, AND they act as a healthy dessert for when you want something sweet but not too processed/sugary. The Greek yogurt has protein which is nice, and the berries make them look super pretty and add natural sweetness to each bite.

I especially love that you can easily make a HUGE batch of these and keep them in the freezer for whenever. Kids love to grab them thinking they’re getting ice cream or popsicles or something! But it’s really just frozen yogurt with toppings. Takes maybe 10 minutes to prep everything and then you wait for them to freeze – way easier than baking cookies. 😉

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granola (your favorite kind)

How to do it

Step 1: Get your baking sheet ready

Put parchment paper on a baking sheet. This makes everything easier later when you take them off! I forgot it one time and they stuck really bad.

Step 2: Spoon out the yogurt

Take your yogurt. Use a spoon to drop blobs of it on the parchment paper. Make them like 2 or 3 tablespoons big. Space them out so they don’t touch each other! You’ll get about 18 little yogurt blobs if you use all the yogurt.

Step 3: Add your toppings

Now put blueberries and strawberries on top of each yogurt blob. Sprinkle some granola on them too.

You don’t have to be perfect about it or anything. Just spread the toppings around on all the yogurt. I just eyeball it and it works fine every time.

Step 4: Freeze them

Stick the whole baking sheet in the freezer now. Wait at least 2 to 4 hours until they’re frozen hard. Sometimes I make them before bed and leave them overnight. That works good too.

Step 5: Enjoy or store

They’re frozen now so you can eat them! Or put them in a container or freezer bag if you want to save them. They last 2 weeks in the freezer. Mine don’t usually last that long because we eat them fast.
